If you want to check your Vietnam e-visa status using the registration code, you can use the official website of the Vietnam Immigration Department (click here). Here are the steps that you need to follow:

How to apply for a Vietnam e-visa online?

What are the Requirements of a Vietnam e-Visa

Passport:

  • Hold a valid passport with at least six (6) months of validity remaining from your intended date of departure from Vietnam. 3
  • Have at least two (2) blank visa pages in your passport.

Photo:

  • Provide a recent passport-size photo (4x6cm) that meets the following requirements:
    • Taken with a white background.
    • In color

    • No glasses, hats, or other head coverings, unless worn for religious reasons.
    • High-resolution and clear quality.

Travel Information:

  • Provide your intended date of arrival and departure from Vietnam. 1
  • Specify your port of entry and exit.
  • Indicate the purpose of your visit (tourism, business, etc.).

Additional Requirements:

  • For certain nationalities, additional documents may be required, such as a letter of invitation or proof of onward travel.
  • Travelers for business purposes may need additional documents, such as a business registration certificate or a letter of invitation from a Vietnamese company.
  • Travelers for work purposes may require a work permit or a letter of support from their employer.
  • Students may need a letter of acceptance from a Vietnamese educational institution.
