What is a Uganda Transit Visa?
A Uganda Transit Visa allows travelers to pass through Uganda on their way to another country, but it is only valid for a maximum of 7 days and cannot be extended. Those holding a transit visa are not allowed to engage in any activities within Uganda except for transit purposes.
The Uganda Transit Visa, under Section 17 of the Uganda Citizenship and Immigration Control Act, 2009, has key provisions. It allows individuals transiting through Uganda to a third country, valid for seven days without extension. Holders must solely engage in transit activities and are prohibited from other activities within Uganda. This legal framework defines the essential requirements for obtaining a Uganda Transit Visa, highlighting the country’s time limits and activity restrictions.

How we’re different
We’ll plant a tree for every product sold. Our vision is to support communities and the environment by offering services to the public. For every product sold, we’ll plant a tree. We do this with local help to support local economies and communities. This is in opposition to mass tourism, which sucks the soul out of destinations. This is also in opposition to greedy international corporations, whose only concern is shareholder profit.
We do this with the help of One Tree Planted. A portion of every purchase goes to a reforestation or urban forestry project.
We hope that, by succeeding, we can have a future that we hope for, not dread.
