Different types of Uganda eVisas

Tourist eVisa (Single-Entry):

  • Valid for 90 days.

Business e-visa:

  • For business-related travel, including meetings, conferences, and negotiations.
  • Valid for the specified business purpose.

Things to remember when getting a Uganda eVisa

Here are a few things to remember when getting a Uganda eVisa: 

  1. Check if you are eligible for an eVisa: Uganda offers eVisas to citizens of most countries, but there are a few exceptions. Make sure to check if you are eligible before applying. 
  2. Apply early: You should apply for your eVisa at least two weeks before your planned arrival in Uganda. Processing times can vary, so giving yourself enough time can prevent any last-minute issues. 
  3. Prepare your documents: You will need to have a scanned copy of your passport biodata page, a recent passport-sized photo, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate when you apply for your e-Visa.
