2. East African Tourist Visa

This is a visa that lets you visit Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda ONLY for tourism purposes. You can enter these countries multiple times with this visa. You cannot work with this visa and it is only for tourism. The visa expires after 90 days and you cannot renew it or use it again once you leave these countries.

Validity 

You can use this visa for 3 months from when it is issued and you cannot extend it while you are in the country.

To be eligible for an EATV, you must:

    • All countries except Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Somalia, and South Sudan.
  • Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date you plan to enter the East African Community (EAC).
