However, depending on the reasons for your visa cancellation, the Indian government may refuse to offer you additional entry visas. The Indian government offers a tourist visa to those foreign nationals whose sole purpose of visiting India is sightseeing, recreation, attending a short-term yoga program, or a casual visit to meet friends and family members.

If all your documents are in order, the Indian government will process your electronic visa in four to five working days. The best thing about an electronic visa is convenience because you won’t have to queue to get your e-visa.

To get an Indian electronic visa, you must visit the online Indian portal, complete all the requirements and submit your application. Another advantage of an electronic visa is that you won’t have to submit a lot of paperwork to be eligible. Once your visa is ready, you will get it via email.

Join us and plant a tree!

Solving the most urgent environmental problems requires teamwork! That’s what motivated us to partner with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization that aims to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees.

We plant a tree for every product sold. Our vision is to support communities and the environment by offering services to the public. For every product sold, we’ll plant a tree. We do this with local help to support local economies and communities. This is in opposition to mass-tourism, that sucks the soul out of destinations. This is also in opposition to greedy international corporations, whose only concern are shareholder profit.

We do this with the help of One Tree Planted. A portion of every purchase goes to a reforestation or an urban forestry project. We hope that, by succeeding, we can have a future that we hope for, not dread. You can help us, by voting with your consumption. Buy a visa from us, to plant a tree.

Our tree planting projects follow these guidelines:

  1. They aim to create green spaces, protect wildlife, store carbon, improve farming or benefit communities.
  2. They plant at least 10,000 trees.
  3. They use a variety of native plants that fit the local environment.
  4. They engage and empower the local people.
  5. They draw on the knowledge and skills of experts or professionals in reforestation fields.
  6. They leave the trees planted for nature and not for profit.
  7. They track and care for the trees planted to ensure around an 80% survival rate.

What Is India Visa Cancelled?

India visa cancelled means that your visa is no longer valid and you cannot enter or stay in India until you get a new visa. India visa cancellation can happen due to various reasons, such as:

•  A pandemic or an outbreak of a contagious disease that poses a threat to public health and safety. For example, India suspended all tourist visas, both electronic and paper, since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The suspension was lifted gradually as the situation improved in India and other countries, with vaccination drives and declining cases.

India resumed issuing e-visas in certain categories, except tourism, in November 2021. India also restored all tourist visas, both electronic and paper, with immediate effect in March 2022.

•  A violation of the terms and conditions of the visa by the applicant or the holder, such as overstaying, working without authorization, or engaging in criminal activities. For example, India cancelled the visas of two Chinese journalists in July 2020 for allegedly violating visa norms by conducting interviews in Delhi without permission.

•  A change in the bilateral relations between India and the country of origin of the applicant or the holder. For example, India cancelled the visas of some Pakistani nationals in August 2019 after revoking the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and imposing a lockdown in the region.

What Happens If You Encounter India Visa Cancelled?

Tourists Need To Know About The India Visa Requirements

Here are some important points to consider:

•  Tourists need a visa to visit India, unless they are from one of the 16 countries that have visa exemption agreements with India, such as Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, etc.

•  Tourists can apply for an e-Visa online through the official government website, Indian e-Visa, which contains “.gov.in” in its URL. The e-Visa is valid for tourism, business, medical, and conference purposes.

•  The tourist e-Visa has three options for duration: 30 days, 1 year, and 5 years. The duration depends on the plans and budget of the tourists.

•  The 30-day tourist e-Visa allows two entries into India and can be applied up to 30 days in advance of travel.

•  The 1-year and 5-year tourist e-Visas allow multiple entries into India and can be applied up to 120 days in advance of travel.

•  The tourist e-Visa must be used within 120 days of approval or it will expire. The maximum length of stay for each visit is 90 days for most nationalities and 180 days for US, UK, Canada, and Japan

•  The tourist e-Visa is a single-entry visa, which means that once the tourists leave India, they cannot re-enter with the same visa. They need to apply for a new visa if they want to visit India again.

•  Tourists need to have a passport with at least six months of validity and two blank pages when applying for the e-Visa. They also need to upload a digital passport-style photo and copies of their passport ID pages. They need to pay the visa fee online using a credit or debit card or a payment wallet.

•  Tourists will receive an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) by email after their e-Visa application is approved. They need to print the ETA and present it at the immigration check post where the e-Visa will be stamped on their passport.

What is an eVisa?

An electronic visa, or eVisa, is a visa that is granted and documented electronically. This means that a visa label (sticker) in your passport is not required. Instead, you will be granted an electronic visa number, which you will need to print and bring with you while traveling.

EVisas are growing more popular since they have several advantages over regular paper visas. For example, eVisas can be obtained online, which is typically more convenient and faster than visiting an embassy or consulate to obtain a visa. Furthermore, eVisas are frequently less expensive than paper visas.

There are five types of Indian eVisa

  • Tourist eVisa: valid for 30 days, 1 year or 5 years, depending on the option chosen. Allows multiple entries for the 1 year and 5 year eVisas, and double entry for the 30 day eVisa. Suitable for sightseeing, visiting friends or relatives, yoga retreats or short-term courses.
  • Business eVisa: valid for 1 year or 5 years, depending on the option chosen. Allows multiple entries. Suitable for business meetings, trade fairs, exhibitions, sales or purchases, recruitment or training.
  • Medical eVisa: valid for 60 days from the date of arrival. Allows triple entry. Suitable for seeking medical treatment in reputed hospitals or treatment centers in India.
  • Conference eVisa: valid for 30 days from the date of arrival. Allows single entry. Suitable for attending conferences, seminars, workshops or symposiums organized by government or non-government organizations in India.

What Is Passport?

A passport is an official travel document issued by a government that contains a person’s identity. A person with a passport can travel to and from foreign countries more easily and access consular assistance. A passport certifies the personal identity and nationality of its holder.

It is typical for passports to contain the full name, photograph, place and date of birth, signature, and the expiration date of the passport. While passports are typically issued by national governments, certain subnational governments[a] are authorised to issue passports to citizens residing within their borders.

Many nations issue (or plan to issue) biometric passports that contain an embedded microchip, making them machine-readable and difficult to counterfeit. As of January 2019, there were over 150 jurisdictions issuing e-passports.Previously issued non-biometric machine-readable passports usually remain valid until their respective expiration dates.

A passport holder is normally entitled to enter the country that issued the passport, though some people entitled to a passport may not be full citizens with right of abode (e.g. American nationals or British nationals).

A passport does not of itself create any rights in the country being visited or obligate the issuing country in any way, such as providing consular assistance.

Some passports attest to the bearer having a status as a diplomat or other official, entitled to rights and privileges such as immunity from arrest or prosecution.
