Requirements for India EMedical Attendant Visa

The documents required for an India eMedical Attendant visa are as follows:

Documentary Requirements for Medical Travel:

  • Passport:
    • Hold a valid ordinary passport with at least six months validity remaining from the intended entry date into India.
    • A scanned color copy of the current passport’s initial (biographical) page.
    • A scanned copy of a recent passport-sized photograph with a white background.
  • Passport Photo:
    • The photograph must be in color and measure 2 inches x 2 inches (51 mm x 51 mm).
    • The facial expression should appear natural.
    • Center the head within the frame and ensure the full head is visible from the top of the hair to the bottom of the chin.
    • Opt for a plain, light-colored, or white background without any shadows on the face or background.
    • Borders around the photo are not permitted.
    • Submit image files in the JPEG format for upload.
  • Letter from the Hospital:
    • Submit a copy of the letter from the concerned Indian hospital on its official letterhead.
  • Supplementary IDs:
    • If applicable for travelers with multiple citizenships, include supplementary government IDs.
  • Medical Treatment Documentation:
    • Copy of the appointment letter issued by a registered hospital, specifying patient and attendant details along with passport numbers.
  • Declaration:
    • A declaration provided by the patient or an immediate family member affirming the purpose and specifics of the medical travel.
  • Travel Details:
    • Copy of air ticket bookings, including an open return booking.
