Honduras Pre-check is mandatory for all travelers entering or leaving Honduras, regardless of nationality.1 All nationalities are eligible to obtain a Honduras Pre-Check. This form gathers basic information about your trip, including your passport details, flight information, and the address where you will be staying.2 Honduras Pre-Check is not a visa, and it does not replace a visa requirement. If your nationality requires a visa to enter Honduras, you must still apply for one at a Honduran embassy or consulate. A list of nationalities that require a Honduran visa is available here.3
Filling out the Honduras Pre-Check form is easy and can be done online here on Visas for Future. Complete the form before you arrive in or depart from Honduras. Just follow our straightforward steps to fill in the form accurately, and feel free to ask if you have any questions. Don’t forget to upload the necessary documents, pay the fee, and review them before submitting. After submitting, you’ll get a confirmation email with a QR code. Remember to show this QR code to immigration authorities when entering or leaving Honduras.

Is it required to have a Honduras Visa for a Cruise Ship?
Generally, cruise ship passengers do not need a visa to enter Honduras for a stay of up to 90 days. It is because Honduras is a member of the Central American Integration System (CAIS), which allows citizens of CAIS member countries to travel freely within the region without visas.4 However, there are a few exceptions.
Here is a list of the CAIS member countries:4
- Guatemala
- El Salvador
- Honduras
- Nicaragua
- Costa Rica
- Panama
- Belize
- Dominican Republic
Here are the following exceptions:
- Citizens of India need a visa to enter Honduras, even if they are on a cruise. They can apply for a visa at the Honduran embassy or consulate.
- If you plan to stay in Honduras for more than 90 days, you must apply for a visa in advance.
- If you are not a citizen of the United States, you should check with the Honduran embassy or consulate in your country to verify the visa requirements.
