Egypt eVisa for Romanian Citizens

As seen on

The Egypt eVisa is an electronic travel authorization that allows Romanian citizens to travel to Egypt for tourism purposes. It is a convenient option that eliminates the need for embassy visits and allows for an entirely online application process.

  • Purpose: Tourism only. You cannot use an eVisa for work, study, or other long-term stays.
  • Validity: 30 days from the date of arrival in Egypt. You can stay for a maximum of 30 days.
  • Entry: Single entry. Your eVisa allows for one entry into Egypt.

The Egypt eVisa offers several benefits compared to traditional visas:

  • Convenience: Apply online from anywhere, skipping visits to embassies or consulates.
  • Speed: Get your visa approved in four (4)  business days (usually faster than traditional visas).
  • Cost-effective: Often cheaper than visas obtained on arrival or through embassies.
  • Time-saving: Avoid long queues and waiting periods at border crossings.
  • Eco-friendly: Paperless process reduces environmental impact.

Planning your adventure to Egypt is now much easier with implementing the eVisa system. With Visas for Future, the application process is further simplified, exclusively for you. Our team of experts will handle the application process on your behalf, saving you both time and hassle. Just fill out our simplified form and leave the rest to us.

Types of Egypt eVisas Available for Romanians

There’s only one type of Egypt eVisa in terms of its purpose (tourism and business), but it comes with two variations based on how many entries it allows:

  • Single-Entry eVisa: This is the most common option. It allows you to enter Egypt once within a validity period of 90 days (although your maximum stay in the country is capped at 30 days). It is a good choice for a straightforward vacation or business trip.
  • Multiple-Entry eVisa: This eVisa offers more flexibility if you plan multiple entries to Egypt during your travels. It grants validity for six months from the date of issue and allows you to enter and exit Egypt multiple times within that timeframe. However, like the single-entry option, your total stay within Egypt cannot exceed 30 days cumulatively across all your entries.
