Colombia visa requirements for us green card holders
You need to have a valid passport and make a copy of these pages:
- The page with your personal information.
- Any Colombian visas you had before (if any)
- The last time you entered or left Colombia (if any)
- You also need a photo of yourself that meets these requirements:
- Size: 3 cm x 4 cm
- JPG format and no more than 300 KB (for online application)
- White background
- Taken in the last three months
- Your whole face must be seen
- You need to show your bank statements from the last six months (to prove you have enough money)
- You need to show your travel plan and plane ticket
- You need to show where you will stay in Colombia.
- If you are visiting someone you know: Show how you are related or explain your relationship.
- If you will go to or join an event or activity: Show the details of the event/activity, the schedule, how long it will last, etc.
- If you are traveling for work: Show the invitation letter from the company, what you will do there, and the company’s registration papers.
- If you will do training or study: Show the enrollment/acceptance letter.
- You may need to show other documents if the Colombian Consulate or Immigration Authorities ask for them.
Note:
- You need to submit your documents in Spanish. If they are in another language, you need to get them translated by a translator that the Colombian government approves.
