Colombia offers different types of visas for foreign nationals, depending on their purpose and duration of stay. The main categories for Colombia visas for Egypt citizens are:
- Visitor visa (V): This visa allows you to enter Colombia for Airport transit, tourism, business, student, and medical treatment.

If the application is made with the support of a legal entity, the legal entity responsible in Colombia for the applicant must request it directly, after complying with the following requirements:
- A reasoned communication signed by the legal representative of the legal entity, which contains the following information:
- Legal entity’s ID, NIT (if in Colombia), and contact.
- Traveler’s ID.
- Letter from a legal representative supporting the application, stating the activity, duration, relationship, financial responsibility, and return guarantee. Also, data of other foreigners that is supported by the entity.
- Explanation of relationship and traveler’s qualification or expertise.
- Declaration of economic responsibility and commitment to inform changes, guarantee return, and report irregularity. Signed and fingerprinted by hand or by foreign authority.
- Legal entity’s document with formalities, if private and foreign.
- Bank statements for three months, unless public entity.
- Bank statements showing at least three SMLMV income.
Student
The foreigner must comply with the following requirements if the application is submitted under personal capacity and responsibility:
- A letter with the foreigner’s ID and activity details.
- A fingerprinted letter from the Colombian host or resident, with their contact, relationship, support, and return guarantee.
- Bank statements showing enough income for six months.
If the application is made with the support of a legal entity, the legal entity responsible in Colombia for the applicant must request it directly, after complying with the following requirements:
