Rules when Entering and staying in Colombia
Colombia Resolution 2532 of 2022 is a set of health guidelines issued by the Colombian Ministry of Health and Social Protection to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19 for travelers entering or leaving Colombia.2
It mandates that travelers complete the following:

How long is the Validity of Colombia Check-MIG form
The validity of the Colombia Check-MIG Form is 30 days from the date of issuance. So, you have to go to Colombia within 30 days after filling out the form. If you don’t make it within that time, your form becomes invalid, and you’ll need to fill out a new one.3
Also, remember that the Check-MIG form is only for one entry. This means you need to fill out a new form every time you go in or out of Colombia.
What are the requirements for a Colombia Check-MIG form
The documents required for a Colombia Check-MIG are as follows:4
- A valid passport with at least 6 months validity.
- Proof of accommodation in Colombia, such as hotel booking or invitation letter from a host.
- Flight Itinerary (Immigration checkpoint, airline & flight number).
