Join us and plant a tree!

Solving the most urgent environmental problems requires teamwork! That’s motivated us to partner with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization that aims to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees.

We plant a tree for every product sold. Our vision is to support communities and the environment by offering services to the public. For every product sold, we’ll plant a tree. We do this with local help to support local economies and communities. This is in opposition to mass tourism, which sucks the soul out of destinations. This is also in opposition to greedy international corporations, whose only concern is shareholder profit.

We do this with the help of One Tree Planted. A portion of every purchase goes to a reforestation or an urban forestry project. We hope that, by succeeding, we can have a future that we hope for, not dread. You can help us by voting with your consumption. Buy a visa from us to plant a tree.

Our tree-planting projects follow these guidelines:

  1. They aim to create green spaces, protect wildlife, store carbon, improve farming, or benefit communities.
  2. They plant at least 10,000 trees.
  3. They use a variety of native plants that fit the local environment.
  4. They engage and empower the local people.
  5. They draw on the knowledge and skills of experts or professionals in reforestation fields.
  6. They leave the trees planted for nature and not for profit.
  7. They track and care for the trees planted to ensure around an 80% survival rate.

What is Advance CBSA?

Advance CBSA is an optional feature that allows travellers to submit their customs and immigration declaration online, up to 72 hours before they arrive in Canada. This can help them save time and have a smoother experience at the border. Advance CBSA is part of the ArriveCAN app or the web version online that also provides other services and information for travellers to Canada.

To use Advance CBSA, travellers need to:

  • Confirm their travel identity document information (passport or Canadian permanent resident card)
  • Answer the customs and immigration questions truthfully
  • Submit the declaration 72 hours prior to arriving in Canada

They will receive a confirmation email and a reference number when they submit their declaration. They will also be able to view their Advance CBSA Declaration E-Receipt from their home screen in ArriveCAN.

When they arrive at the airport, they need to:

  • Scan their travel document(s) at the airport kiosk or eGate where available
  • Review and edit their declaration at the kiosk or eGate (if required)
  • Submit their final declaration
  • Take the kiosk or eGate receipt to a border services officer for further processing

If their declaration changes before they arrive, they can edit their declaration when they get to the airport kiosk or eGate. If they do not confirm (certify) their declaration at a kiosk or eGate within 72 hours of submitting it, it will expire and they will need to submit a new declaration (for example, if their flight is delayed or their trip is postponed).

Advance CBSA is currently available to travellers arriving at the following Canadian international airports:

  • Calgary International Airport (YYC)
  • Edmonton International Airport (YEG)
  • Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ)

Canada Visa Policy

Canada has a visa policy that requires most foreign nationals to obtain a visa before entering the country. However, there are a few exceptions, such as citizens of the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union.

Canada has a visa policy that determines who can enter the country and under what conditions. Depending on your nationality, purpose of visit, and length of stay, you may need a visa, an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), or neither to travel to Canada.

Here is a summary of the Canada visa policy:

  • Visa-free countries and territories: Citizens of 54 countries and territories can visit Canada without a visa for up to 6 months. However, citizens of most of these countries need an eTA if they arrive by air.
  • eTA-required countries and territories: Citizens of 26 countries and territories need an eTA to visit Canada. You must apply for an eTA online through VisasforFuture.com before departure if entering Canada by air.
  • Visa-required countries and territories: Citizens of 23 countries and territories need a visitor visa to visit Canada. You must apply for a visitor visa online or on paper at a Canadian diplomatic mission or a visa application centre.

Here are some additional tips for traveling to Canada:

  • Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended date of departure from Canada.
  • If you need a visa or eTA, apply well in advance of your travel date.
  • Be prepared to answer questions about your purpose of visit and length of stay at the border.
  • Have proof of funds to support yourself during your stay in Canada.
  • Be familiar with the Canadian customs and immigration regulations.

What is a Passport?

A passport is a travel document that identifies you as a citizen of a certain country and allows you to enter and exit other countries. A passport usually contains your personal information, such as your name, date of birth, place of birth, nationality, gender, and photo. A passport also has a unique number and a machine-readable zone that can be scanned by immigration authorities. A passport may also have a biometric chip that stores your fingerprints or facial features for security purposes.

A passport is issued by the government of your country of citizenship, and you need to apply for one before you can travel internationally. Depending on your destination, you may also need a visa, which is a separate document that grants you permission to enter a specific country for a certain period of time and purpose.

What is Citizenship?

Citizenship is the status of being a member of a certain country or polity, with certain rights and responsibilities that are not granted to non-citizens. Citizenship can be acquired by birth, descent, naturalization, or other legal means, depending on the laws and policies of each country. Citizenship can also be lost or renounced under certain circumstances.

Some of the benefits of citizenship include:

  • The right to vote and participate in the political process of your country
  • The right to travel and live freely within your country and abroad
  • The right to access public services and benefits provided by your country
  • The right to protection and assistance from your country’s government and diplomatic missions
