What is Diplomatic Mission

What is Consulate?

What is International law?

International law is a set of rules, norms, and standards generally recognized as binding between states and other entities that are legally recognized as international actors. Bangladesh is a party to many international treaties and conventions, and it is committed to complying with international law.

The Bangladesh constitution recognizes the importance of international law and states that Bangladesh shall abide by the principles of international law. The constitution also states that Bangladesh shall not join any military alliance or take part in any war except in self-defense or with the approval of the United Nations Security Council.

The Bangladesh government has taken steps to incorporate international law into its domestic legal system. In 2013, the government passed the International Crimes (Tribunal) Act, which establishes a tribunal to try crimes against humanity committed during the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971. What is Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh (MOFA) is the Bangladeshi state ministry which oversees foreign relations of Bangladesh. It is responsible for formulating and implementing Bangladesh’s foreign policy, and for representing Bangladesh in international organizations.
