What is Diplomatic Mission?
The Diplomatic Mission of Australia is the collective term for all of the diplomatic missions that Australia has established in other countries. These missions represent Australia’s interests in the host country and promote Australia’s relations with that country.
There are currently over 100 Australian diplomatic missions overseas, including embassies, high commissions, consulates, and honorary consulates. The majority of these missions are located in the capital cities of the host countries, but there are also some in other major cities.
